Silence is Bliss

I have remained judgmental towards various credentialed media outlets and critical of their lack of moral and professional responsibility to report information accurately, or state information in a unbiased fair way. It’s a joke how the media has long since taken this opportunity to play a loud obnoxious song without heartstrings (take some music lessons-please)! Recklessly creating fear and destruction for all citizens to bear in mind throughout their daily lives, ratings are the golden rule to live by. Credentialed or not it is weak in ability and shows lack of journalistic research to replay the same awful horror stories of tragedies in our nation over and over. Perhaps a little ignorance would be a great emotional filter that would allow us some holiday bliss. For the sake of the ratings for irresponsible and redundant news outlets, give them the gift of silence-Turn it OFF!

Resolutions are for quitters

I have not quit.  A lot of people quit this time of year. I have started 2017 with ‘I’, thereby breaking my own ‘rules’right here.  While every great blog writer it seems has quit this year-my inkwell is still full of uncoagulated blood. I suppose this should mean more room in some invisible Blog-o-Sphere for me, but I am not in some ‘ great ’ category so it only means less inspiration for me (and admittedly a slimy sinking feeling that perhaps I am about to give up). Neverthemore, I am still sitting here typing away, writing things not read, acquiring more debt every waking moment, and stacking up the disappointment of those closest to me. Towering.  The main difference between working at invisible arts every single day and a low paying 'part-time' service job, aside from adding to my invaluable social security would include; precious time away from my (Frmr.) Aside from the blatant oxymoron, what I mean is, when I uncover what seems to be a significant piece of human or cultural history that should have been learned during the accrual of basic education- it feels like Ive been lied to, important information has been withheld and I feel ripped off- why didn’t I know this ?  Ultimately, Historians have a vast responsibility with Father Time as a heavyweight opponent and infinite miles to cover.
