Silence is Bliss

I have remained judgmental towards various credentialed media outlets and critical of their lack of moral and professional responsibility to report information accurately, or state information in a unbiased fair way. It’s a joke how the media has long since taken this opportunity to play a loud obnoxious song without heartstrings (take some music lessons-please)! Recklessly creating fear and destruction for all citizens to bear in mind throughout their daily lives, ratings are the golden rule to live by. Credentialed or not it is weak in ability and shows lack of journalistic research to replay the same awful horror stories of tragedies in our nation over and over. Perhaps a little ignorance would be a great emotional filter that would allow us some holiday bliss. For the sake of the ratings for irresponsible and redundant news outlets, give them the gift of silence-Turn it OFF!

Sunset Cliffs my Santa Cruz

My staunchly republican, blue collar, grandfather’s voice resonates with me when he quoted Sgt. George S. Patton “Lead me, follow me, or get the hell outta my way.”

No excuses

Guilty! I am completely guilty of letting this blog go stale. I have been busy, yada, yada, yada… No excuses. For health reasons my diet has changed, which has been challenging. I came so far in my adventures in culinary art and exploration. Now I must learn to cook all over again, with my own health in mind and the satisfaction of my family being the utmost important aspects of making delicious meals. Honestly, if we weren't constantly challenged life would become pretty boring and bland. The event that occurred in my life made me reevaluate how I am spending my life each day. Treasuring even the simplest of obligations like packing my kids lunch for school is a treat that I not dare to miss. Since I have finally arrived at the well known conclusion that “life is too short”, I jumped in without testing the water into my Freelance writing full time, I will never look back. There is wisdom in doing what you love and loving what you do. So today, my dear blog, I will no longer
